Life Skills
Our Life Skills centre is based at the Stanmore campus and is a perfect transition for young adults moving from school to adult services, providing a familiar environment but with a different approach to further learning than a typical school day.
We provide a range of support options for young people between ages 18 and 25 for building-based skills development, community access, or a mixture of both.
In community access, we start and end the day at the young person’s home, encouraging our people into local communities through attending music, drama or dance classes, and going to the cinema.
Through our building-based skills programme, we work together to take part in planned, structured activities with a focus on independent living skills and building peer relationships.
Facilities are shared across the campus so young people benefit from integrated learning from Tots, through to School and onward to Life Skills.
