Home from Home: Stanmore Residential
On campus, we are proud to provide Stanmore Residential which acts as a home away from home for our learners who wish to stay during term time. Stanmore Residential also offers respite for vulnerable children in Scotland, including emergency respite where this is needed. Our residential service provides accommodation to children and young people between the ages of 5 and 20.
Our residential provides custom-designed accommodation for all needs. We offer individual bedrooms fitted with environmental controls and tracking hoists. We’re happy to provide anything else a young person may need to help them feel more at home and more comfortable. We offer four rooms to each bungalow in Stanmore Residential, so young people can enjoy living and interacting with their peers outside of school hours. Each bungalow has a fantastic living and dining space for socialising and activities, or just enjoying some television after a busy day at school!
Whether children are staying with us for a short break or attending school, our goal is to create a nurturing, caring environment where every young person gets the care and support they deserve. And, of course, our Residential benefits from the same facilities and allied health teams as found in Stanmore House School.
